The Failure of “Project Ukraine” and the Biden Administration’s Psychotic Final Hail Mary Pass

One Thing To Be Clear About Before You Read On

This article is in no way intended to be a criticism of Ukraine or the people of Ukraine. On the contrary, this article intends to show that the US has calculatedly sacrificed the lives of hundreds of thousands of Ukrainian soldiers in order to further a hegemonic project that has ended up failing entirely.

The US’ Documented 2019 Plan To Use Ukraine To Harm Russia

Three years before the current phase of the war in Ukraine began in February of 2022, plans regarding how to use the Ukrainian military in a proxy war to damage Russia were already being drawn up. In a 2019 RAND Corporation memo entitled “Extending Russia From Advantageous Ground” that was funded by the G7 and the US government, a whole series of geopolitical, economic and ideological factors were being weighed regarding how to draw Russia into a proxy conflict with Ukraine.(1) The goal of which would be to bleed Russia economically and militarily.
In the portion of the above-mentioned 2019 memo entitled “Providing Lethal Aid to Ukraine”, there is a section entitled “Benefits” that reads as follows, “Expanding US assistance to Ukraine, including lethal military assistance, would likely increase the costs to Russia, in both blood and treasure, of holding the Donbas region.” The following section entitled “Risks” reads as follows, “Such escalation might extend Russia. Eastern Ukraine is already a drain… However, such a move might come at a significant cost to Ukraine and to US prestige and credibility. This could produce disproportionately large Ukrainian casualties, territorial losses and refugee flows. It might even lead Ukraine into a ‘disadvantageous peace’”, ie; military defeat.
Coincidentally, in 2019, the sale of billions of dollars worth of weapons to Ukraine was ok’d within months of the issuing of the RAND memo.(2) The floodgates were opened, as weapons began to pour into Ukraine. This, along with a few other red signals, was almost certainly one of the key provocations that led to Russia’s special military operation in February 2022.

It should also be noted that the US tried to overthrow the Ukrainian government as far back as twenty years ago during the Bush Jr. years. There was a US generated campaign behind the turmoil that ensued in Kiev in 2004. “The orange-bedecked ‘chestnut revolution’ was an American creation… Funded and organized by the US government, deploying US consultancies, pollsters, diplomats, etc..” (3) The Maidan Revolution in 2014 was also heavily backed by the US. “The extent of the Obama administration’s meddling in Ukraine’s politics was breathtaking.” (4)

The Failure of “Project Ukraine” Produces a Global Bolt to Join BRICS

In 2023 it became clear to the world outside of the Western media sphere, ie; the majority of the world, that Ukraine had no chance of winning a war of attrition against Russia.(5)(5a) This, coupled with the failure of multiple rounds of US/NATO sanctions to in any way damage Russia signaled that China and Russia had secured the upper hand for the BRICS alliance in the years and possibly decades to come. Over the course of 2023 and 2024, the BRICS alliance, which was initially made up of five countries (Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa) had doubled in size, with 40 other countries rushing to gain entry.(6)

These new conditions and revelations have spurred BRICS members and prospective BRICS members, a grouping that makes up more than half of the world’s GDP and well over half of the planet’s human population, to engage in, amongst other things, the beginnings of the creation of a new collective currency. This new currency, which is in the process of being developed, will eventually challenge the dollar as the world’s central global currency.
These newly strengthened economic and military alliances, which include three of the world’s four most powerful economic and military nations (China, Russia and India) have generated a new global playing field on which the United States is no longer the lone great purveyor of power.

On top of the aforementioned documented facts, all indications now are that the BRICS alliance is going to continue to grow and prosper as the Western G7 alliance’s power and influence continues to dwindle and recede. (7)

The Biden Administration’s Psychotic Final Hail Mary Pass

The Biden administration, with less than two months to go in the White House, has ok’d the shooting of long range missiles into Russia’s mainland. The UK, who have also bet their economic future on the success of project Ukraine, are doing the same. There are indications that one or two other European NATO nations might be joining in on this escalation as well, being that they also bet their economic future on project Ukraine in February/March of 2022.(8)

These insane escalations are an obvious attempt by US/NATO forces to keep project Ukraine going by forcing a global conflict that spills out beyond the region. A conflict that could quite easily escalate to the nuclear level.

In reality, what we’re witnessing is the final Hail Mary pass thrown by a dying (neocon) ideology that, in a fit of psychopathic recklessness, is risking the fait of the entire world in an attempt to prolong the US’ waning hegemony.(9) Let’s hope that cooler heads and warmer hearts prevail over the course of these next two months. Because what’s certain is that these maniacs who are risking all of our lives to preserve their privilege and power, have no end game other than to keep perpetual war, their cash cow, going.
